  1. If it were honorable, it would come with clear guarantees, automatic cancellation if they’re not met, and a time limit. 20 years, maybe? But nothing from this corrupt administration will be honorable.

  21. I’m honestly disappointed in all the headlines crying about Zelensky REJECTING the deal or REFUSING to sign.

    Ukraine received the first draft/offer from the United States, Ukraine analysed it, noted some concerns and have sent back an amended deal for the U.S. to accept or negotiate further.

    If Trump sends it back to Ukraine with more amendments will we see headlines stating “Trump REJECTS Ukraine minerals deal”?

    I do wish Zelenskyy would be more quiet in public on matters such as European & Ukraine security, and especially on doom & gloom prognosis about the need for American support in the fight against ruzzia. Much of it unwittingly provide ammunition to both Trump and putler’s disinformation campaigns.

  32. There is no reason to accept any deal from the United States. If there is no collective security agreement, no weapons, no resources to actually win…why would Ukraine agree to pay us?

    The only way the mineral rights deal works is if we give Ukraine gazillions in resources…so that they can win. And at this point, there probably aren’t enough personnel to even push Russia back…so Europe and the US would need to provide troops.

    Seriously, 50%? Present AND future? That’s an obscene ask. I mean, without security guarantees it’s not even haggling material. So if Ukraine wins, Trump gets 50% of its minerals, right off… and if it loses, Trump will just buy them super-cheap off the desperate Russia.

    Trump probably thinks it’s a watertight deal that he can’t lose, which would be true if it weren’t for the minor detail that this would be assuming everybody on Earth is an idiot. In fact people have actively been talking about how he’s a sellout and a traitor.

    It’s clear that nobody has the guts to tell Trump that he has to censor his speech a little more.

    He always, ALWAYS goes to Putin first.
