Hoping someone can help me, antique roadshow style. My grandmother left me these decorative plates that hung in her kitchen, she said they were her mother's. Her mother moved to the US from Czechia, but they appear to be in Norwegian. If anyone has details or info about the motifs or this style of art I would be super grateful since there's no one left to ask. Possibly made of wood??

Google “rosemaling” and you will find other, more elaborate examples. But the text is indeed Norwegian, and in modern style with lettering officially introduced in 1917.
There is a norwegian art style called “Rosemaling” where people would paint beautiful flowers onto things. When reverse image searching, I found a similar pair of plates in Swedish text as well, but the webpage blocked me from accessing it, most likely due to it being a local washington art index site and me being in Norway. Both sets of plates say “Thank you very much” and something like “Please enjoy the food” in regards to serving food.
Rose painting. Yes, a type of folk art. The two plates say “Thank you” and “You’re welcome” in Norwegian.
