Just being an amateur all around naturalist has felt like that ever since they published limits to growth in the 70s
We’re all on the tracks. Those researching it just have the best persepective and knowledge about the speed, size, and distance of the train.
Half of use believe the folks with the binoculars watching the oncoming train. The other half are looking the other way and calling the watchers liars, as they don’t see anything on the horizon.
