I want to buy a cheap car to have for short trips and regular stuff, nothing fancy honestly.
Can someone describe the process needed to buy and register a car in Luxembourg?
I tried looking in [Guichet.lu](https://Guichet.lu) but i find it very complicated.
Would it be better to buy the car from a used dealership? Do they take care of the registration? That way i can just go there and get the car in a few days without going through the hassle of doing all the process myself?

Cheap is relative. Prices of second-hand cars is rising due to supply/demand issues.
If you buy from a dealer, they should do the registration for you.
Annual road tax is not included and you will receive a few days later the demand for it.
If you buy from a person, you do the legwork yourself at the SNCA (make appointment, bring some paperwork, pay money, receive new registration paper):
