The photos of them greeting kids behind a chain link fence were especially repulsive. I reckon when the Queen dies later this year it will act as a catalyst for all kinds of change.
These royal ‘tours’ seem so outdated and embarrassing, like something from the 1950’s.
Look out for the competition to be the most outraged and repulsed by something that has zero effect on the outraged….

Absolute embarrassment, time to put this colonial dreck to bed.
People are going to be excited to meet them and will want their photo taken with them. The tours they go on abroad are not different to the visits they do in the UK, however their relevance to those countries is certainly less than it is here. The question is: do those abroad feel the same about these tours as those criticising the tours from the UK? Some will, without a doubt, some will not. Let them decide if they want to remove the Queen as their head of state, like Barbados has and Jamaica is considering.
They do reviews like this in lots of places, even the UK and it’s so everyone can get a good look at them. It’s a platform to make them visible over a large area and a large number of people. That’s not a privileged position to look down it’s an invisible goldfish bowl so they can be stared at.
