I will be baking a birthday cake for my fiancé it will be in the shape of Miffy. Well, Miffy’s head, at least. My fiancé is 39.
Breakfast, gym, hospital appointment, some grocery shopping, and then home, when I should finally be able to relax.
I have the half-term off, so I’m trying to maintain discipline and not just rot in bed.
I’m going to a discount book warehouse? Interested to see what kind of stock they are going to have but trying not to pick up too many books. We’ll see how successful I am lol
Probably laze in bed for a few hours and fall back asleep, then nip to the supermarket. I’ve been working on persuading my friend to get into Warhammer, and we’re gonna head to town later to go buy some models for him to try the hobby out.
So far (🇬🇧 in 🇰🇪) picked up a parcel from 🇹🇿 which is always an adventure, it comes by bus and you pick it from the bus booking office. I can never find the office and have to ask which indebts me to the person who answers 😂 Now sitting with a coffee waiting for a rental house viewing that they pushed back by 30 mins. Might see some friends in a bit, then the garden centre, then home. A bit of meal prep this afternoon.
I finally got registered with an nhs dentist, and I have an appointment today. Then I’ll be walking my dogs.
Hosting a party for my now four year old. Wish me luck they are all quite a handful
Watching every episode of Bluey, starting with the Whale episode (which is quite fitting). If you know, you know.
Arsenal women v Tottenham women with the kids, then hopefully an early night tonight. No ironing or homework panic because it’s half term, woohoo, and I’m on annual leave tomorrow and Tuesday, double woohoo.
14 h shift, suspect I’ll be spending a large part of it washing up, which I actually don’t mind, I won’t rush it if they’re going to stiff me with every single pot in the kitchen (I know who is cooking today).
Going to try and strip some peeling paint off a windowsill and redo it. I’ve gotten to the others, just the one in the kitchen left.
Just watched First Dates, washing sounds like it’s nearly done. Off for a dog walk on Dartmoor later
Got an IKEA peg board so have quite a few hooks and holders I want to 3D print. Hoping to take the drone I got for Christmas out, but the cold will probably put me off.
Mrs is having her first driving lesson this morning. Weekly shop will be coming shortly after. Then I’m going in to work for all of about 30min (and getting paid £100 for the effort!) and then doing roast chicken dinner and golden syrup pudding when I return.
If I’m lucky I’ll be able to grab an hour on the Xbox this afternoon having started playing again last week for the first time in probably 7 years since we had our first kid.
One of my mates has just gone through a nasty breakup so we’re going to get a few beers in and play some games together. He’s always been a great friend so want to do all I can for him too.
Usually we have movie night on Saturdays but skipped it, might see if the boys want to do Shawn of the Dead tonight instead as well, think that’s a fitting one!
I’ve got to try and survive rail replacement services to get home with a hangover. Then my child will come back home and make me feel so much worse, no doubt
Husband and I are going to the gym at 9am; as we do every Sunday morning. Then breakfast, and probably house chores.
Try and rinse all my house chores and gym workout in a massive huge rush before 12.30 so I can spend the rest of the day chilling, playing ps5, watching Netflix and nap. Followed by anxiety inducing dread and fear from 7pm about the week.
Taking my old kitchen to the tip
Rubbing my hands in glee because I was meant to be going to the Scottish Witch Trial Museum with my mum today, but she’s just called to cancel as she has a cold coming on.
Not that I want her to be unwell, not even that I don’t want to see the museum (sounds really good actually). It’s just I’ve been busy as fuck, and tbh a day at home playing The Sims and doing a jigsaw sounds way more appealing right now.
Might do a bit of baking as well and walk along to drop some banana loaf off to her if it brightens up later.
I’m finally handing in my notice to a job I’ve been burnt out at for a year tomorrow. So today I’m celebrating with a roast dinner and netflix time!
