Would the Government just give over and decriminalize this already for the love of fuck; it’s absolutely mind numbing that they continue with this 1950’s style prohibitionist outlook. Do they not have access to the Internet? Do they not see Canada, The US, Germany, Thailand or Holland and maybe think to themselves what an utter waste of time, resources and tax payers money this is.

I hate weed, its caused immense damage to people I love. Its made my life very hard
The Weed available to buy from drug dealers is dangerous and can ruin your life and the lives of people who love you. Im no scientist, but from 20 years of being in the middle of loved ones with this addiction im 90% sure the damage exacerbates or maybe triggers underlying mental health issues. The variable is the tendency for people with mental health issues to lean in it and self medicate with it. So it’s chicken and egg, but ive witnessed cannabis induced psychosis and its a very real danger.
What I cant know for certain is the role of what is added or sprayed onto weed. Regulate it for the love of God, so carers can at least know where they stand and what they are dealing with to better help their loved ones.
Weed can be an incredible tool to improve quality of life in many debilitating afflictions. Im all for it, we’ve all seen what it can do for Parkinsons patients and for pain relief, arthritis etc
Weed can be a great time, im not all that against it. Free will, be educated and know the risks.
Weed needs careful controlled regulation and it needs to happen urgently.
Lastly its putting money in the hands of dangerous people. Buying it from a dealer supports and encourages slavery, violence and human trafficking across the globe.
Tax it, Regulate it, control it.
