Sounds like Estonians trying to sound Finnish. I understand some but not all.
I understand it better than Estonian. I could follow the topics, but didn’t get all the words.
Some words seem familiar but it is mostly incomprehensible.
Would have been nice to have Finnish subtitles as well. I think if I listened to it multiple times and really tried hard, I could understand quite a bit.
Definately a good amount, but I’m not quite sure if they were going hunting or bathing
Some words were perhaps more familiar and you get meanings out of the context but otherwise I don’t think I understood it any better than the Estonian subtitles.
In the other thread people are talking about the film Unna and Nuuk. I guess it’s useful to mention it here as well.
I understood most of it, but I think the pronunciation was a bit too modern-ish Estonian. I don’t speak Estonian, but I undestand some Karelian and Izhorian language (inkeroisen kieltä/isurin keelt) which are very close to Finnish.
