MADERA, Calif (FOX 26) — TJ’s, (Tijuana’s ) a well-known Madera Restaurant celebrated 35 years in business on Sunday.
The celebrations kicked off at noon and will run until closing time which is 9:00 PM.
Plenty of community members came out to show their support for the business.
As part of the celebration, the owners gave out free carnitas to those who came out to support.
In addition, there was a live mariachi band throughout the day.
Jorge Buenrostro one of the owners of the restaurant said he wanted to thank the customers who keep him running and strong.
“Thank you for all these years, you know 35 years is quite a bit, thank you for the support, I love you all”, said Buenrostro.
