   “A memo sent to leadership at the US Department of Homeland Security orders the elimination of climate-related activities.

   Top officials at the US Department of Homeland Security received a memo on Friday ordering an immediate stop to work connected to climate change and the elimination of climate-related terms across the agency.

   The memo instructs senior office heads to “eliminate all climate change activities and the use of climate change terminology in DHS policies and programs, to the maximum extent permitted by the law,” according to the document seen by Bloomberg News. The changes are meant to bring “alignment” with Trump’s executive orders that reverse multiple climate-related orders by former President Joe Biden, it said.”

   This is so frustrating. The writing was on the wall, but this is just so upsetting.

3. Next step: eliminating fire departments.

4. Good luck. I’m assuming the National Guard will be axed next, since all responses need to be from individual states and organisations with the right names only. Then once cities have been abolished, just single farming families trying to put out fires with water from their dam that’s been contaminated by fracking pollution.

5. And this boomer won’t even be around to share the consequences with the next gens.
