  1. They’re actually not road legal in the UK. At least our government can get something right.

  2. Because a Ford in America is $20000 and here it’s £50000. Tax on American cars is insane in the UK

  3. There’s so many things that make most US cars (not the Cybertruck, which isn’t road legal) uncommon:

Engine size means fuel cost is ridiculous
Engine size means insurance cost is ridiculous
Body size is ridiculous so it’s not suited
Body size is ridiculous so everyone thinks you’re a prick…

Someone has an older F150 around our way and it’s just a fucking monstrosity. Can’t imagine what a nightmare it is to park anywhere in public.

  4. Wanted one of these huge ugly critters as soon as it was announced. Still waiting watching the price go up n up. When I get the email from Tesla I’ll be asking for my deposit back.

Right now I’m calling vaporware on this. Dont think Ill ever see one.

  5. Americans car manufacturers would bankrupt without north and south america this is not an opinion it’s a fact, americans never did good cars

  6. the Cybertruck is a poor example, because its illegal on British roads

  7. We buy a lot more “American” cars than people think, it’s just that they make them in Europe.

  8. “Why don’t Europeans buy more American cars?”

Probably because they’re shite and ugly

  9. The tesla truck makes the Robin reliant look like a work of art and ten times safer.

  10. Within 10 minutes, all of the windows would be smashed and you’d be called a wanker about 5 times

  11. Ah the wankpanzer or the “swasticar” death trap of a machine

  12. American cars are big and bad. Our roads are small and bad. Just a terrible combo.

  13. Haha – actually I love the look of a Cybertruck, sorry! Always have, since the first reveal. It’s a great concept car.

I’d never buy one. Safety record / rust / reliability record / Don’t need an SUV / Don’t want to put more money in Elon’s pocket.

As an object, though, I get it.

  14. The only way I would consider owning that is if it was actually Optimus Prime
