I don’t know if the title is misleading or Britain will station soldiers in Ukraine, I’m just getting confused at this point.
He’s right we need to shift away from the US and save Ukraine. They will be needed to counter the new threats democratic countries are facing. Might as well kick Hungary out of the EU while they are at it and replace it with Ukraine and Canada.
I’ve been saying for years now that European troops need to take care of security west of the Dnieper to free up Ukrainian troops for frontline duty. We should have done it a long time ago, but now it’s the only way Europe can compensate for the inevitable withdrawal of US aid to Ukraine.
Yes, UK now will fulfill Boris’ promise to Ukraine last 2022.
The US has abdicated all moral leadership, especially with Ukraine, please Europe needs to step up and help Ukraine survive.
Britain is absolutely not prepared or ready for a war which means Russia would be in real trouble as Britain has historically never been prepared or ready and often comes out on top.

It feels like the world is fracturing, with more division and more hate. Social media has given everyone a voice, but that isn’t necessarily a good thing. Too many people speak without thinking, reacting instead of reflecting, and in the process, the noise drowns out reason.
It seems like those with wealth and power are more focused on increasing their own fortunes than making a meaningful difference in the world. Influence is used as a tool for personal gain rather than progress.
Profit over people, self-interest over society.
And worst of all, our system encourages and rewards this. The structures in place don’t just allow it, they thrive on it, reinforcing greed

We were raised to believe in democracy. Many of us believed it. Offer us citizenship for service in a *real* democracy, and you’ll have no shortage of manpower.
I’m not a Trump supporter, but I believe Europeans should fight and die for their countries before Americans should. Ukrainians and Brits are the only ones with balls over there.
Honestly, the world should have sent troops to uncontested ground as soon as they had Intel on Russia’s special exercise.

My advice to Macron, Starmer and the rest is to prepare to defend Ukraine and sit tight. Let the Trump gang try their hand at negotiations in Saudi Arabia. Don’t interfere: it must be seen as their show when it fails.

Station troops inside Ukraine to free up forces to attack Russian held territory. Have 50,000 Europeans sitting on Belarus’ border with Ukraine.
Any “peace deal”, other than the full retreat of Russia to its pre-invasion borders is a gift of blood soaked Ukrainian soil TO Russia, the aggressor nation that committed thousands of war crimes on that soil.

I’d support it as long as we have free rain of all of our aresanal. Don’t hold punches. Flatten areas of Moscow and St Petersberg. Make the Russian people struggle to ignore that their obedience to the state caused this.
We should be saying it more. Even if it’s not true at all – this and more severe language in general should be adopted Europe-wide. Putin is just waiting for us to start meekly backing off. It would make him even bolder in his conquest of former USSR. Europe should sharpen its dentures for once. We’re on our own now.
They may feel they have to gamble on the US Military refusing to deploy.
If that’s the case, it’s now or never. This is the only time in History where intervening like that could work.
It might also finally spur the action we need from the masses stateside if Trump tried to enter into such a war.
To be clear, I think this would be a HUGE gamble that has every single likelihood of being entirely not worth it or practical.
