This year marks the first time since 2019 that Eurovision postcards are being filmed on location in the host country. Over the past five years, postcards have featured artists superimposed onto locations in the host country, shown visiting their home nations, or appearing alongside past Eurovision entries from their country.
Postcards have been used at the Eurovision Song Contest since 1970. The postcard provides time for the stage to be set up for each performance. Over the years the postcard has evolved from being used to advertise the host country to being able to introduce more about the participating artists.
