    Honestly, the US needs to just fuck off for good. If they want to be isolationist, then they get no say in any foreign matters from here on out and csn recede into international political obscurity.

    Like literally nothing. No new aid, no security guarantees, no NATO accession.

    Give 50% of minerals to US, while US is removing sanctions on russia and belarus, bringing russia back to the G7, threatening to attack denmark and Canada etc.

    If a spy thriller book or action movie is playing a russian sleeper agent in the US and they did the same thing as what trump is doing – people would laugh at how unrealistic and ridiculous it would be. But this is the new reality.

    I hope Europe steps up. It’s the only hope. Ignoring and isolating trump is the best way to deal with this. Don’t just go with what him and putin wants.

  12. In America in the corporate world when we have meeting it’s always about short term gain. There’s very little respect for predecessors and agreements. We used to have a saying to cut the deal before that person gets replaced or retired. It starts all over again with the replacement.

    then asking for a fortune in mineral rights would be sane even if it’s still basically blackmail/corruption.
