Even princesses forget Valentine’s Day sometimes!
On Saturday, Feb. 15, Princess Eugenie marked the holiday by celebrating husband Jack Brooksbank with a tribute full of sweet photos of the couple and their two sons on Instagram — and poking fun at her tardiness!
The royal, 34, kicked off the Valentine’s Day tribute with a cozy selfie of the couple, both she and Brooksbank, 38, smiling as they cuddled up together outdoors in cold weather gear. In the next photo, she showed off a jacket with embroidery on the back that reads, “Mrs. Brooksbank.”
The princess also included snaps of Brooksbank with their sons: August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, 4, and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, 1. In one photo, the father walked hand in hand with one of their sons, and in another, he, the princess and one of the kiddos shared a group hug.

Eugenie — who is the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson — rounded off her tribute with a couple more snaps of her and Brooksbank and, in the caption, penned a sweet message.
“My valentine!! Love you to the moon and back,” she wrote. “Happy Valentine’s Day (for yesterday…whoops) ❤️❤️❤️💕💖💖💖💖.”
Eugenie married Brooksbank on Oct. 12, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, with her sister, Princess Beatrice as her maid of honor. The couple said “I do” about eight years after the two fell in “love at first sight” while meeting on a 2010 ski trip in Verbier, Switzerland.
“We met when I was 20, he was 24,” she told the BBC of her now-husband after announcing their engagement in early 2018. “[We] fell in love. We have the same passions and drive for life.”
The princess also shared her first impression of Brooksbank in a pre-wedding interview, revealing to for ITV’s This Morning that she first “thought, ‘What a silly hat!’ And I thought, ‘Who’s that?’ “
Then, he “came over and shook my hand,” she added, “and I was all butterflies and nervous.”
