Government needs to set up a large refundable point-of-sale tax system on such canisters that makes them unaffordable for the general public unless the empty canisters are returned for re-use.
Had this opposite me (zone 3) going on frequently anywhere from midnight to 5am, and with enough pestering various people (met ASB reports, council ASB reports, council fly tipping reports) a camera was installed where it was happening and haven’t seen it since. My wife calls me a Karen! But Karen gets results.

I hit one of these cycling in Shoreditch once and took a pretty rough fall. It was lying in the middle of the road and it was too dark to see properly. Luckily the road was clear and there were people nearby if I needed help but I was okay. Hate those things
I never understood why those idiots can’t just find a bin. Do what you want but get rid of your crap. There’s a similar spot next to where I live where they park and get high, and there’s a bin literally a few meters away but they just chuck their canisters out the window. Blows my mind.

How are these single use canisters cost effective, just get a sodding BOC account.
I was walking to the gym last Friday night and passed a couple of guys in their work van chucking shit like this out of the window along with food wrappers, balloons, bottles etc.
Initially I went past, but turned back and had to ask them if they’d seen anyone leave this shit all over the floor. All three of us were equally disappointed that such dirty cunts exist and can live such a pig lifestyle. They very kindly accepted all the shit back up off the floor after I launched it back through the open window.
The van did have company details all over it so I made sure to let their employer know that they have such good lads working for them, cleaning up the streets.
Put a £2 deposit on each cylinder. Problem solved. Make sure it’s law that retailers must accept the empties. This will put the smaller sellers out of business… I’ve lived in countries that do empties deposits…people will pick up the empties for the deposit money.
I find these in the alley behind my house every now and again with bottles of Jamaican tonic wine.
Kids are gonna kid, but I wish they’d throw them away properly. They’re a nightmare to dispose of
They would make good earth batteries.
I see boxes of these and piles of them just thrown on the street, I live next to a university. This only started happening after the whole viral “Galaxy Gas” thing went around. Never saw it before and if I did it was rare but those little metal canister things.
Literally see these big cans in piles just left on the floor, every day, on the street where I live.
More button pushers and burgers flippers in the workforce !
It’s idiots like these that mean we can’t use nitrous oxide as hobby rocket enthusiasts without hoops to jump through. The number of hybrid rockets i see at events has dropped to the point i’ve seen one in the last year. Used to see multiple per event 🤨

I’m having a tough time understanding the physical scale of the items in this picture. I can’t tell if the canisters are gigantic or puny.

Loads of these in and around Southall, and Hounslow, you see alot of drivers and passengers huffing at night, then leaving lots of rubbish. I’m guessing that it is difficult to be detected if they’re stopped and checked by the Police, and also may be used by people that don’t drink or smoke.
This is nothing new. It used to be glue and hairspray. Some people will do anything to get off their face for a bit.
Wait til you see the hundreds of kids driving round with the balloons in their mouths ready to inhale…
