How J.D. Vance behaved is the actual state of U.S. politics right now. They are outright lying, they call it “alternative facts”. They have been doing this for the past 9 years, ever since convicted felons first term. U.S. democracy is over. It won’t come back. The conservatives have a base of convicted felon supporters who would actually tear you limb from limb with their bare hands if they were told to. They are ok with racism, sexism and outright lying, because that matches their personalities.
If J.D. Vance steps foot over there again, he should meet real Scottish hospitality.

Vance is dumb af, but I feel this is him to gain brownie points after Trump said JD wouldn’t be the 2028 Nominee for President. So this is Vance trying to prove to Elon and Donald that he is enough of an arsehole to run in the next election.
Still of the opinion that 2028 will be Harris vs. Vance, with Kamala taking back the White House as the first female President. Vance (and many other Republicans) just doesn’t have the same pull as Trump does.

He brings up an about a minor case in Scotland, as if it’s a major world issue, while in the US school kids get shot at on a weekly basis and it’s participating in a Genocide . What a stupid speech during a security conference and a complete waste of time when Europe is at war. Go back to the US to serve the orange rapist.

This is what they (Trump, Musk, Vance and MAGA) do. They lie just about every time they open their mouths and dare you to correct them. This has been going on since before Trump ran the first time, when he challenged Obama’s birthplace. It’s maddening and dangerous. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter when you present them with facts. They don’t care. I’m so sorry our VP is spreading lies but is par for the course. This administration is like an abusive spouse in isolating Americans from our friends. I know boycotts will hurt us but I can think of no other way at this point to get reality into MAGA heads. And I’m not sure that will work given the dangerous idiocy at work here.
Maybe explain how what he said was factually wrong might be a better tactic than just upping the rhetoric.
