  1. I had that book and it frightened the life out of me!!

  2. Loved Goosebumps books as well. Would love to know what the ‘Robot Wars vehicle’ looks like.

I recently bought a load of ‘Horrible Histories’ books from the early 2000s in a charity shop. 50p each! Bought for when my kids are a bit older.

  3. What do you think the robot wars vehicle was – Nemesis, Razor (my favourite), Firestorm?

  4. Not sure which is the relic? Woolworths or the fact they paid in cash ☹️

  5. The next time you clean your floors

You might find something from Robot Wars

    Goodbye.

  6. Wow, I thought Woolworths by that point only sold toys and pick ‘n’ mix…

  7. I used to love Goosebumps books. Say Cheese and Die and Attack of the Mutant (I think) were faves.

  8. Every time I read Goosebumps, I added the locations on to a map I was drawing. Drawing connections between house and locations.

Wish I still had it, though I bet it wasn’t as epic as I remember.

And yes, I did go into to do geography as a degree.

  9. I don’t remember that one, and I thought I knew all the goosebumps books.

That cat is fucking shitting it too. Absolutely not alright with pizza and the pop flying.

  10. I used to love those books I also had a ton of other kids horror books but I can’t remember the name of the other series they were sort of popular at the same time in the late 90’s

  11. I’m not ready for the terms “relic” and “old world” to be applied to artifacts from 2002.

  12. Back when receipts didn’t fade within an hour of printing meaning you have to have an argument with the shop if anything goes wrong 🤣

  13. Who knew that just 6 years later Woolworths would disappear from the high street.
