  1. Good thing the EV market has lots of other options on offer. It is in a good place rn.

  2. Did you see them complaining about why Europeans don’t want their ) America) cars? Because they aren’t suitable for our roads and petrol prices. Tesla was the only exception but now it’s following suite 🤣

  3. Looking forward to when twitter – x, and Tesla go bankrupt

  4. A part of this is also byd, which is present in many euro markets now.

  5. Okay..now Trump will threat us with an invasion because an american company is loosing money and its a threat to american freedom and values 😅

  6. To be fair, from a mere market analysis point of view, we should wait for a trend to actually show up and the phase-out/phase-in of the Model Y to be completed.

Tesla always lived with huge swings in the registration volumes since forever. So the registration figures in January are not much to evaluate.

It might be a (well deserved) long term effect, we just don’t have enough data to confirm it yet.

  7. Unfortunately I think the fall in Tesla sales in January are not connected to a boycott.

Trump took office January 20, it seem unlikely Tesla sales from the last 10 days would instantly plummet. I think the real explaination is that Teslas model range is getting old. It is normal for old car models to sell less. That is why car manufacturers have facelifts/relaunches all the time.

And Tesla is about to launch a new version of Model Y – which is an important high volume car. I bet you many customers are awaiting the new model and once it comes Tesla sales will increase again.

I hope I am wrong, but I don’t quite trust pinning the January fall in sales on what Elon have done in the past weeks.

  8. It should be 0 sold Tesla cards. You want to be a Jøssing, not a Quisling.

  9. I am deeply proud of my adoptive home leading the pack on this one.

  10. I’m sure I won’t be keeping Elon up at night but was dead set on getting one in April. Dead set against it now.

  11. He has moved on from a slightly eccentric dude to a complete bat shit crazy dude the last year, and given his influence with Trump and his own wealth is probably what makes consumers to have serious doubts… That being said I’m interested top see what the new model Y will do the current boycott. 5 years ago I’d probably say “best of wishes and good luck”, but given the last month I’d say you’ll probably (and hopefully) get what you deserve. Given their tech and how they made EVs more available to the public the last decade and push other manufacturers to progress was surely a great move, but being bat shit crazy has neven proven to be be a long term winning strategy accordring to <insert any known dictator as a reference here>

  12. It will hurt his ego. Sure he still can afford the price of eggs, however he is so insecure he will do something very rash that will cause his brand to plummet to new lows.

  13. He doesn’t care that much anymore he just got a contract with USA government for zillion of teslas

    But GO SPAIN

  14. There’s no greater display of your complete failure as a human being than to be seen buying a swasticar

  15. The Chinese are laughing. BYD is now the most sold electric car in the UK.

Isn’t slavery, propaganda, and systematic oppression a part of fascism? Why is it acceptable in China?

  16. Is it Tesla boycotting or the fact that people are broke AF and the jobs are gone and no one can afford a car…

  17. I had strong respect for that crazy guy, but now I feel like he is one of the worst famous people who doesn’t have common sense and is deprived of humanity. I understand that genius isn’t easy to understand, but his attitude toward people is absolutely clear to me.
