I’m envious of how Canadians have come together to remove everything Yankee from their purchase, if the whole world became aware the risketo would quickly go downhill.
I wish we wouldn’t describe it as a “boycott”. That makes it seem co-ordinated, allowing Musk to claim he’s the victim of a campaign by the “radical left”, whereas I think people have just decided that they don’t want them.
Just wait… No cargo ships have arrived in January. One has arrived already in February, and another two are expected to arrive this week. Plus another two in March. In early March when deliveries take place we’ll be able to gauge this boycott properly.
Also in Spain the incentives have been temporarily ruled out so that is also a factor.

If Nestle taught us anything, is that people do not give a fuck about company ethics. And we’re talking about like 3€ difference, don’t tell me people will actually buy an inferior product for 5k more simply because they don’t like the CEO.

The “sales collapse” is because of the Model Y transition from legacy to Juniper. Nothing related with a boycott.
It’s actually a lot simpler: we’re becoming poorer every day and most people just can’t afford it.
Parece que está dejando a mucha gente fuera en los últimos tiempos. No queda mucho margen:
– La gente que no se puede permitir un coche de +30K
– La gente más clásica o conservadora que pasa de los eléctricos a menos que le convenga mucho al bolsillo y a su uso.
– La gente más escorada a la derecha ideológicamente que suelen ser anti-eléctricos (“lavadora con ruedas” los llaman).
– La gente más escorada a la izquierda ideológica que nunca le ha molado este tío.
– La gente menos politizada a la que no le hace gracia el circo en el que se ha metido.
– La gente con más pasta que se va a otras marcas tradicionalmente asociadas al lujo (BMW, Mercedes y de ahí para arriba).
Te queda gente con buenos sueldos y que les cuadre mucho Tesla en comparación a otras marcas. Y eso que, objetivamente, me costaría recomendar o elegir un coche eléctrico que no fuera un Tesla ahora mismo.

The model 3/Y are matched or beaten in price/range by the asian brands EVs with much better interior build and materials quality, along with a much larger parts and service network
The S/X cost as much as an high end Benz/BMW/Audi/Porsche EV with abysmal quality for the price
Tesla was for a long time the only decently priced long range EV, now they are an underdeveloped brand with poor reliability, parts and service network, quality and CEO who basically left the company to control the government
Tesla boicot o también que se acabaron las ayudas y que su producto dentro del mercado de automóvil en nuestro país empobrecido no es interesante si no lleva subvenciones asociadas.
