  4. Musk has no job, aside from putting the team together. DOGE employees are Treasury employees and the DOGE (USDS) office was established by Obama in 2014 for the purpose of governmental efficiency. DOGE isn’t freezing funds appropriated by congress. Rather, DOGE is freezing discretionary spending leaving the agencies.

    There’s no checks and balances issues here.

  7. It’s a coup or take over of the government by the executive branch, and the Republican Congress is complicit. But who’s to say he won’t fire all of them too before this is all said and done.

Auditing the government is something that should be done on a regular basis and the fact that you don’t want him to, just proves the need to do so. What are you trying to hide?

  13. If the Executive branch can ignore the spending priorities created by Congress why do you need Congress at all? Read the Constitution, this was not what was intended. Since 2003 Republicans have control Congress and thus the spending priorities 70% of the time.
