The Kerry Under 14 Girls have had a hard fought season to date and have earned an All Ireland Final Cup Final against Galway next month.

Unbeaten this season, the Kerry Girls have shown their clinical nature, composure and maturity to make it to this stage, and will be chomping at the bit for that decider.

In their semi-final clash with South Belfast, they set the tempo and left Christy Leahy Park with a 4-0 win. It only took five minutes for Kerry to show their hunger in the tie, with Laura Heaphy bellowing the South Belfast net

The lead was doubled minutes later through Ava Harty, and the hosts had built a strong early lead. A lead that grew to 3-0 when Nessa Kirby flashed a shot past the South Belfast keeper. That score remained in place until the break.

While the visitors continued to press, Kerry had all the answers in the second half. And continuing their strong nature in front of goal Eilidh Cregan fired to the net to score the fourth and final goal.

Another strong showing from the entire group laid the foundation for victory. Part of a double header with the 16’s Boys against the same opponents, the Boys could not follow suit, losing 1-0 in their quarter final clash.

For the Inter Kenmare Under 16 Girls, the St Brendan’s Park Under 12 Boys and the Mastergeeha Under 14 Boys, it was the end of their National Trophy journey at the weekend, as all three suffered defeats at the last 32 stage.
