Hamas rejects disarmament, vows to fight ‘Israel’s agents’ in Gaza after the war

1. Endless war, suffering, and destruction it is then… Religion is a bane on humanity.

   I am sure most redditors and people who are blindly pro Palestinian are happy about this, which is unfortunate because this is only going to cause more Palestinians to needlessly suffer and die, as they continue to be used as human shields. Hamas are not fighters or any type of resistance, they are the CAUSE of the death and suffering of Palestinians in such blatant and undeniable ways.

   Israel gave Gaza to Palestinians back in 2005 to do as they pleased and they turned it into a launching pad to kill and remove Jews from the region after they elected Hamas to represent them in their first Democratic elections. There is so much nuance being ignored and denied by both sides, those who are blindly pro Israel and those who are blindly pro Palestinian.

   If you are pro Palestinian, such as myself, then this should outrage you and not fuel any optimism.

2. I mean, I don’t know what we expect. The US and Israel have come out and said that they intend to complete the genocide. Naturally Hamas is gonna fight back.

   If you’re expecting Hamas to disarm or disband, you’re going to be disappointed. At most, they’re willing to enter a power sharing agreement or a unity government.

   The only realistic way to destroy Hamas is by offering Palestinians a better future, which Israel will not do- the Biden administration wanted to have the Palestinian Authority govern Gaza, only for the Israelis to veto that option. 

   The Israelis aren’t serious about destroying Hamas, they just want to keep the Israeli voters entertained with violence – otherwise they might ask why Netanyahu has so many home when many Israeli families can’t even get a small apartment in Israel. 

   The sad thing is that Israelis would rather inflict cruelty upon Palestinians than leave them alone and be left alone.
