It will snow in most of Latvia on Tuesday and the night to Wednesday. The layer of snow will increase by several more centimetres, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.

Visibility will worsen during snowing. Roads will snow over and become slippery, which will make driving conditions more complicated, meteorologists warn. The wind will blow from the west and north-west and will be slow. Air temperature will drop to -10° C… -15° C at night (-4° C… -9° C along the coast). Daytime air temperature will range between +1° C and -5° C.

Snowing will continue in the middle of the week, so weather will be mostly cloudy. The layer of snow will increase slightly in some areas. While nights will remain frosty in most of Latvia, daytime air temperature, especially along the coast, will rise above 0° C.

On the weekend, as atmospheric pressure increases, weather will become dry. Warmer masses of air will flow to the country, causing the snow in most of the country to melt. Although nights will remain cold, daytime air temperature will stay at around 0° C.
