I wonder if we accept the 10 million Switzerland initiative, what the impact on Grenzgänger will be. Companies may relocate near the borders. The number of Grenzgänger will explode since people will not be able to move and live here. Wonder what the impact on Central Switzerland is going to be, etc.
Interesting times.
My office is located in the industrial zone of Geneva that borders France. Whilst sitting in traffic I decided to count the number of plates on the road. Excluding trucks/lorries it was 30+ French ones for every Swiss one.
