Better wait for the next local elections, within the 6 months before they all discover tons of budget for useless roadworks
There is nothing so permanent as a temporary fix.
But is it still useful? I see they put concrete barriers, so maybe the traffic situation changed, making it obsolete?
I agree, in that case they’d better remove it completely…
Where is this?
Looks like the road is closed so… why fix it when no one will use it?
I hope the driver was fined for causing this accident.
That traffic light could have been a child that was walking on the sidewalk. Zero survival chance.
it is less nationalist so thanks the driver !
Did you report it?
I’ve been looking at the pothole in my street for 20 years now and it’s still there
The fact that they’ve just fixed the pavement shows that this is still a work in progress.
I would give it another year or two, three…
Just keep us posted every year or so on how it’s going.
What else is new in Belgium?
Is it on a “gewestweg” (the Nx numbered roads), or a local road?
If it’s local road – just report it to the city/town hall (or the opposition party to help bash the ruling party).

If it is a “gewestweg”, then it’s likely out of the town’s hands. At best, you can report it to the appropriate agency. https://meldpuntwegen.be/meldpuntwegen/index.html.
