Good. We need more. Boycott the oligarchs. Stop using Amazon. Weaponize social media. Support local businesses and the businesses who refused to change policies according to Don Dump’s constitutionally illegal “executive orders.”
Target caved on DEI? I’m out.
Amazon Done.
Target Done
Chick-Fil-A Done
I haven’t shopped at Amazon or target in 2025 and I am doing everything I can to never shop there again. I’m done
Keep it going. These rats in executive offices in empty leased buildings only see the color green. Give them less.
Meanwhile I do almost all my shopping at Costco now.
It only makes sense in a corporatocracy such as we live in today. Your dollar is the only meaningful vote you’ve got left.
Free market capitalism at work. Love to see it.
Begs to ask the question, if they don’t cooperate with removing DEI initiatives, what have they hiding when the expected Federal investigation comes their way?
I’m pretty sure they do care about DEI, but they caved because they don’t want their business to be tied up in a federal investigation.
It sucks. Shows that money > everything to them, but shouldn’t we have already known that?
Target, too? Fuck. My kids love going there. Oh well. Costco membership it is.
Maybe people will start shopping at locally owned stores now.

I dumped Amazon Prime after Bezos wouldn’t allow the Post to endorse who they wanted. I expected to miss it but I don’t so far. I’m pissed at Google for caving to the Gulf of America nonsense but Apple did too so I guess I’ll be keeping my Pixel for now. I told Google I was unhappy about that in a survey but I’m sure that will really rock the corporate boat. /s
This is whats called “Fake News”. Most people I know don’t care at all about politics and a good 1/4 of them certainly are not switching stores because of it.
Several friends are cancelling Spotify. I use Apple Music, which isn’t good either but I haven’t figured out how to cut Apple products out of my life. That one seems pretty daunting ngl.
I’ve stopped buying at Target. Airbnb is also on the boycott list, since the ceo just joined dodge. Airbnb sucks anyway, it worked well for me so I could cook my own food on trips but I’m not traveling in the near future because I’m trying to save money since recession / depression seems imminent.
It’s weird using Amazon for window shopping and then buying directly from manufacturers’ websites, but that’s what I’ve been doing.
The only vote we have left is where you spend your money, but wealth is so concentrated you almost can’t buy anything without the oligarchy getting a cut.
