  1. The people should depend on corporations to cook and stay warm

  2. Good . Wouldn’t want them using any of that nasty reusable energy.

  3. At some point, they’re just going to require all load serving entities to have a certain percentage of their energy usage provided by resources that emit carbon dioxide (and those that are short can pay those with extra carbon dioxide emissions for the rights to some of theirs)

  4. We all know that windmills are killing all the bald eagles. But why do they claim to hate solar energy?

  5. I was just listening to how Texas was gaining ground on California with the solar and battery boom but this is going to put a big squash down on that s***

  6. I installed 12kW on my roof which should produce triple my demand in peak summer. Including a new roof, It costs me $60k or $500 in loans a month for 15 years before the 30% tax break.  Even excluding the tax break it makes total sense as PGE charges about $0.46 kWh. $500-800 a month PGE bills are common here.  In other words, 300% of my energy demands in solar is equal to the cost of a monthly bill and in 15 years when the loan is paid off, it’ll be free-ish. Solar is a no brainer. “Who can afford $60k?!” If you can afford the monthly payment for your energy now, you can afford this no money down loan.  Again, I’m at 300% and it’s equal to the monthly power bill without solar. You could do half, and it’ll be half the monthly bill.  The panels are warrantied to produce 92% output 30 years from now. Batteries and solar are only going to get cheaper.  It is absolutely stupid not to invest in them. It helps the little guy and it helps us get off of oil faster which is a national security risk.

  7. What the fuck? He doesn’t think solar energy works☹️☹️👎🏿👎🏿

  8. Trump is determined to make sure humans never reach full self awareness. Gotta make sure we have thousands more years just barely getting through life, traumatized and bitter, while pieces of shit like him force us to bend the knee. Either that or just no humans anymore.

  9. Just installed 6.6 kW of panels for $4500 Australian ($2850 US). People in North America seem to be paying four to six times that. What’s going on?

  10. Eventually, the constituents in these red states are gonna be wondering why money isn’t flowing into their communities anymore, and the Republicans who wanted this or not will have to provide an answer. They might not be good answers, but I can assure you they ( the constituents ) would be pissed that there’s no jobs for the people working on the solar plants.

For the people who live in these red states and are concerned about the prospects of your home’s future contributions to the renewable energy boom, worry not. Lots of people are worried and angry that this is happening, and are doing whatever they can to stop it, including engaging in elections. Yes, those are still happening.

Wondering where to start? Look no further than r/VoteDEM who have done phenomenal work in flipping red seats since the inauguration.

  11. That’s okay, Natural Gas pipelines can make up the deficit

  12. Cutting down trees and using farmland to put up toxic solar panels is not a good thing.

  13. The cost of *Making America Great Again.*

At least he’s not talking about tearing down the wind farms and solar arrays then destroying them – YET. But I could see an all out ban on all power produced from any renewable source in the coming years. Oklahoma is already in the process of banning renewables.

  14. Don’t you know solar panels that don’t need to be replaced for 40 years is bad for GDP ….. drill baby drill 😏
