  2. We need to research new methods of capturing carbon and possibly do both.

    If this World would be ruled by clever and empathic people all defence budgets would go that way.

  3. We should continue researching carbon capture but money is a finite resource. Most of it should be going to build out renewables because it’s the best bang for your buck. Pick the low hanging fruit first. Spending large dollars to commercialize expensive and inefficient carbon capture technology is a form of climate action delay. It’s like switching to organic food when you really need to stop smoking crack.
