    The gist:

    *”France plans to a host a second meeting to discuss Ukraine and European security on Wednesday, but has invited European countries who were not present earlier this week and NATO ally Canada, diplomatic sources said Tuesday.*

    *Two diplomatic sources said the countries invited were Norway, Canada, the three Baltic states (Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia), the Czech Republic, Greece, Finland, Romania, Sweden and Belgium. “*

    I hope some who felt snubbed at the first round will be appeased – can’t let ourselves get split now!

  3. It’s absurd how many European leaders have let Trump dictate the narrative around negotiations with Russia.

    The standard, unified response should have been to not recognise the Saudi talks as the de facto/sole forum.

  14. Bring in the Canadian brothers closer to Europe. Expand the trade deal, drop visas, buy Canadian products and promote European products in Canada.

    Glad to see that the rest of the countries get to meet, good to see the rest of us are not let out of this.

  18. I’m so glad our forefathers created the EU. Europe is an amazing place and we united are so versatile and great.

    If there is a continent that has so much experience in war and terror, we are now actively working together to let no attacker get away with it. Peace, free travel, free trade as a cornerstone. Together for the greater good.

    The sum of Europe together is so so great. If only all our village idiots would realise this. And they seem to multiply with every second and that is scary as fuck.

  27. Canadian here. I can see us willing to send troops but it won’t happen until we get a new prime minister. And if Pollieve wins might not happen at all.

  28. France is in unique historical moment. All they need to do is to bring their nukes and declare nuke umbrella for Europe.

    This would secure French domination in EU for next century.

    And it would be end of German dream of Europe from Validivostok to Lisboa.

    Win-win for everyone.
