I’ve always been curious about how much money billionaires really have, so I built a site called [“Spend Their Fortune”](https://www.spendtheirfortune.com/) to put it into perspective.
You can choose a billionaire and try to spend their entire fortune on everything from basic necessities to private islands. The numbers are pretty mind-blowing—buying a mansion barely makes a dent in some cases.
I’d love for you to check it out and let me know what you think. What’s the most absurd thing you ended up buying?
Also, just a heads-up, I know they don’t have that much cash just lying around, but the goal of the site is to show the sheer scale of their wealth. They may not have billions in liquid assets, but with all their collateral, they could easily borrow as much as they need, and they could liquidate assets if needed.
Sorry If this isn’t the right place, I can delete the post.
79600 politicians to break even
End world hunger forever and still be left with $68bn. I’ll take that
A much better version of this would just be adding how much they make per second and see if you can outspend it.
