  1. Diemžēl jāpiekrÄ«t, bet mÅ«su spēkā ir Å”o izmainÄ«t!

  2. I don’t mind them speaking whatever language they choose to each other. I only mind them speaking to me in a non-state language, them having lived here for their whole lives.

  3. Can we seriously stop spreading such bs nationalist propoganda? Its not about the language you speak, its about your values and where your loyalties lie

  4. You realise the very reason Latvia is awesome is because of the freedom to speak whatever language you want? Oppression of language is a very slippery slope, and not one Latvia (or any other country) wants to go down.

  5. Kāpēc kūdīt naidu, autors neparāda sevi no labākās puses

  6. Krievs Latvijā nav naidnieks. Nozombēts krievs Latvijā gan ir. Noteikt to var viegli, noskaidrot, kur krievs skatās ziņas.

  7. Latvia sucks for a lot reasons, and more important than mentioned. Seems everyone hates Russia, but we are not that different – same corruption, however country is much smaller. “Kiss ass” attitude towards EU / US. USSR collapsed a long time ago, but many governmental structures operate by same principals.

Not to mention “Rail baltica” and similar smaller size “rail baltica” everywhere you look.

“Latvijai nauda ir vairāk kā nekad”. Jautājums – kurās kabatās tā nauda ?

“Latvia has so much money like never before”.

  8. Language is not the problem, it’s the attitude of certain people who use it that ruins it for everybody. All the decent folks just become guilty by association.

  9. Principā Å”is te varētu bÅ«t klasificēts kā “hate speech” pret LV

Mūsu valdība jau pietiekami dara, lai saglabātu LV valodu, kultūru utt

  10. DrÄ«zāk: latviski runājoÅ”ajiem nevajadzētu justies slikti vai neērti par to, ka nerunā krieviski. Mani par to jau nosodÄ«juÅ”i gana krieviski runājoÅ”o indivÄ«du bars, kas domā, ka tā ir pirmā nepiecieÅ”amÄ«ba. Nevaru iedomāties tos, kuri patieŔām neko nesaprot un ikdienā jāsaskaras ar to.

  11. Divide and conquer, simple as that. We are busy talking shit about the language we speak, while our politicians enjoy the disconnect between the two groups.

  12. The meme is true, but only for older people. Young russians at my latvian school and uni spoke latvian to everyone except amongst themselves, so there’s improvement for sure.

  13. Man patīk kad Es eju gar autoostu un kaut kāds krievs man krieviski kļenčī naudu, un, kad Es atbildu, ka nerunāju krieviski, man saka, ka MAN vajag mācīties krievu valodu.

    Пошел Š½Š°Ń…ŃƒŠ¹

  15. Kā nevaru ciest Å”o latvieÅ”u liekulÄ«bu. Te komentāros mēģina taisnoties, ka krievu valoda nesagādāja problēmas, tai pat laikā pirms kara darbu nevarēja dabÅ«t, ja nezināji krievu valodu. Bet personai no āzijas liks Latvijas himnu atskaitÄ«t, lai Bolt food varētu strādāt. Tā dirsā līŔana krieviem ir pilnigs absurds.

  16. Latvia suks because half country speaks Russian/Latvian language and both parts thinking it’s the biggest problem

  17. Cannot tell for everyone, but all my friends paying attention for their kids, to learn Latvian in school. Also spotted couple of times fathers talking with their kids in Russian and kids responding in Latvian, which is very interesting imo

  18. When I was in Latvia I spoke Russian and English to people, didn’t know it was bad lol
    if only i knew Latvian

  19. I am not sure how people think such content is okay, even as a joke. This is pure hatred and nazism. How do you propose in the democratic country people are denied the right to speak any language they want?

    By force, deportation, concentration camps?

The fact that people upvote this here means more political divide, less understanding, and the lost chance of make this country united.

  20. Bold title. The only reason Lithuania is not in the same situation is that your Russians moved to Kralovec.

  21. Sākam paldies mūsu mīkstajiem 80to gadu bērniem
