  1. If they do it homogeneously, this is not saving, but money distribution. Obviously they will not do it that way. Somehow he will make it so that it goes to either rich people or rich companies, although they don’t really pay specifically high taxes.

    I’m eager to see how he manipulates this situation to get another billion form taxpayers money.

    Edit: Also, some people on Twitter have already pointed to how DOGE is double counting some staff in their web and adding extra cost to where it doesn’t exist. So maybe at the end they end up wasting even more money than what they save.

  2. An organization with no oversight wants to “refund” Americans’ money that had been appropriated by Congress and, an unknown amount of money from unknown sources, but has yet to pay any of the National Debt?

  3. Stupid bullshit. Country has well over a $1T deficit annual. 1st of all DOGE isn’t saving taxpayers a damn thing. But let’s say we just give them credit for the false numbers they’re claiming. Then when they’re done the US is still running a deficit of well over $1T

  5. I don’t think that will work. They need those funds to cover the deficit that the lowering of corporate taxes produces. I think they “found” 55 billion? Thats like maybe 350$ each taxpayer if distributed evenly? The services some of the funds goes to outweighs that check for the vast amount of taxpayers.

  12. My opinion – This will take place next July when DOGE is dismantled and this “refund” will actually be a stimulus check in disguise to get the economy rolling again
