Prince Harry, a former captain in the British Army and Founding Patron of the Invictus Games, had a huge hug for one competitor. Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE at the Invictus Games, Prince Harry shared his excitement.
“It’s incredible to be back in Canada. Canada couldn’t be more appropriate to host the first Winter Games. Everyone is so excited,” the Duke of Sussex says.
The Duke of Sussex created the Invictus Games as an international adaptive sports tournament for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans in 2014 as a means for healing, and the Vancouver Whistler edition was its seventh iteration.

The Duchess of Sussex used her Instagram Stories on Feb. 18 to link to her Instagram video announcing that she renamed her upcoming lifestyle brand from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever.
