I can see why. Twitter is run by a man who is a champion on getting rid of his countries department of education and cut research funding. Sad and pathetic that US institutions are too scared to do the same thing.
Damn right. Its literally a nazi propaganda website he’s programmed to send push notifications directly into the pocket of every user. Today its an ‘ASMR video’ from the official White House account of people being deported from american in shackles, as a psychotic 53 yr old billionaire giggles and retweets ‘based!’.

X is hell. Bluesky is horrible too in a different way. can barely stand the centrist-dad vibes on there

That is precisely what I think the advantage of Bsky is, the ability to own and host your own data!
Dunno why everyone with a decent following doesn’t at least use both. Theres even apps/sites that will automatically post on Bluesky whatever you post on Twitter.
TfL annoyingly has an account but they’ve never posted there. Why would a company like TfL not post on both?
