This is Europe’s weirdest dish: Ortiguillas de Mar, literally fried sea anemone

  1. We eat lamprey boiled in its own blood and sheep guts wrapped around a stick covered in snail sauce but an innocent annemone is the weirdest?

  2. For me the weiderst one would be Surströmming… wanted to try it, but all i could do is to barely stop myself from puking, everytime I came even near that thing…

  3. Europe’s weirdest dish? Sure?
I think you are not such a connaisseur culinaire if this is the weirdest you know.

  5. There’s nothing more weird about them than eating an oyster. They are ridiculously delicious, though, and I hope other countries don’t discover that and drive up the prices.

  6. Europe’s weirdest dish are “Percebes” found in Spanish north seas and looks like an Alien hand!

  7. Weirdest dish in Europe??? Excuse me, Sardegna’s Casu Marzu would like to have a word with you.

Can’t beat weirder than live maggots imo.

  8. Caracoles, riñones, conejo, callos. La lista es larga.

Snails, kidney, rabbit, callos (pig intestines). The list is huge.
