Another example of the Hate Mail pushing its ‘compensation culture gone bad’ / ‘broken legal system’ agenda.
Note, this didn’t even get to court. P&O Cruises obviously accepted this gentleman’s account, and accepted it had blighted a holiday, which presumably also cost “thousands of pounds”. He says the compensation offered was “less than the value of the cruise”.
He wasn’t handed it, he had to present a case, which P&O felt they couldn’t defend.
