After his comment linking Ukraine and Brexit is it surprising? I’ve come to the conclusion that despite the education Boris really isn’t that bright. Cunning certainly and enormously selfish but his career is punctuated with some enormous clangers. If I was a European leader would I want to photographed and frozen for posterity next to a man using a most serious occasion to dress like a clown to differentiate himself. They’re discussing war in Europe and the dislocation of millions of people and he thinks it’s a meeting to play his buffoon card. Let’s be honest, he’s only there because Britain is in NATO but if it was by invite he’d still be checking the post.
