The consumer confidence indicator in Slovenia dropped to -31 in February 2025, down from -28 in the previous month and reaching its lowest level since December 2023.
This was due to a deterioration in expectations for the country’s economy (-43 vs -36 in January), households’ finances (-22 vs -18), and savings (-21 vs -16).
Additionally, consumers remained pessimistic about major purchases over the next 12 months (at -34).
Concerns about price changes also intensified (52 vs. 50).
