  1. One has to wonder just how organic that movement was. They were relentless and seemed absolutely intent on turning public opinion against them. Without passing comment on their stated goals and aims, the way they represented themselves in interviews was so utterly tone deaf that I have a hard time ruling out the idea that they were controlled opposition, or deliberately placed to give Priti Patel a pretext to pass further restrictions on protest.

If you don’t believe me, take a look at the interview with their leader. IIRC it was Richard Madeley doing the interview. So whatever show he’s on now. The leader comes across as an irritating twat.

  2. im guessing this is in the insulate Britain thing?

can we not say that now as were being pushed to “insulate Britain” now as a positive way to come off insanely expensive and geo politically unstable fuel supplies….

  3. > Essex Police said postal requisitions had been sent asking the recipients to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 27 May

Weird language here. They’ve not been asked to do anything. They’ve been told to come on pain of arrest and possibly further punishment.
