Hamas stages macabre ceremony to release bodies of four Israeli hostages, said to include Bibas children and their mother

   Just to add to the whole horror of this:
   The coffins were mislabeled – Ariel’s name was printed with a photo of his brother Kfir, and vice versa.
   Shiri, the mother’s coffin listed her “date of arrest” as October 7.
   They handed the coffins locked with [keys that didn’t match](https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-842935).

2. In a recent Al Jazeera documentary of Hamas they state that the hostages were “rescued from their communities and evacuated to Gaza in order to save them”. Meanwhile, on the coffins in the picture they wrote the name of the hostage and then “Arrested on: 7.10.23”. These morons can’t even be consistent in their lies. Fuck Hamas.

3. As someone who’s pro-Palestine and generally pretty anti-Israel’s government, I have to say: fuck Hamas. Fighting bad guys doesn’t make you good guys. Hamas is proof. They clearly dont’ give a single fuck about the lives of children.

4. Another resistance group (Mujahideen Brigade), not Hamas, kidnapped them on 10/7.  Hamas offered to return them to Israel almost immediately after 10/7.  Israel refused and bombed them, killing them all.

   It’s a tragedy.  Israel cared more about killing Palestinian children than protecting its own.

5. This is a weird way of saying that they returned the bodies in accordance with Jewish burial rites. Remember when Israel dumped a truckload full of rotting corpses of Palestinians on a street in Gaza with no notice or documentation of any sort? Now THAT’S macabre. Let’s not get it twisted.

6. They still don’t realize how hard Trump is about to hit them, this isn’t weak Joe Biden they’re dealing with anymore. There’s a certain cosmic justice in 07/10 leading to a Trump Tower in Gaza. I almost wish Sinwar and Haniyeh were alive to witness what’s coming.

7. As of this comment, Israel has confirmed the body of Oded Lifshitz, who was a peace activist for Palestinians.

   We do not have forensic identification for the Bibas family

   Often ID could be done with dental records, but Kfir was too young to have teeth
