2. Often, when I hear these kind of vile, psychotic statements, I try to imagine how future historians will view them, perhaps a century or two from now. Assuming that civilisation holds together that long. I think our descendants will marvel at the insane greed and short-sightedness of our political leaders.

3. Why are any democrats confirming any of these nominees? We know none of them actually use science and reasoning. Let the Republicans do it all on their own.

5. I cannot control politicians, industry or billionaires. But I have chipped away at my own 30 tons of CO2. Gardening, planting trees, dramatically reducing the energy I use, and heating with a rocket mass heater. No sacrifice – everything is about making a better life AND it happens to chip away at my CO2. I think I am now in the space of chipping away CO2 for others.
