  5. Call me crazy, but this just seems cruel. It’s not intended to kill your enemy, it’s intended to blow their feet off so they slowly die in a field.

  12. Jeez! If you pause the video you can see the long fuse which looks like it causes the frag to go off just above ground level. Brutal fragmentation pattern!

  18. Looks as though the soldier is paralysed. He is still alive for the moment as we can see paced breathing and movement of his arms, however his legs do not move and the way he fell is as if he lost all nerve control.

  25. This is horrifying. Aside from not being there in the first place, what do you even do in this position? Drone looks pretty high up so may not be heard, just stick to the bushes and hope you’re not seen?

    Based on some videos coming out of this war theres a good chance his comrades just leave him there rather than retrieving him as well, just to add insult to injury.

  33. That blast pattern is fucking crazy. That really shows how deadly shrapnel is, little death metal bullets flying in random directions. It’s like when we were kids and would snap the stick off the bottle rocket and throw it but way fucking worst lol.

  35. When the ground is frozen the ground absorbs way less of the explosive impact. That shrapnel spread was concentrated and effective

  36. That one is geometrically perfect. Effective kill distance would be 3meters. Effective damage would be around 5meters. Suicide distance is between 6 to 8 meters. That is when a russian soldier knows that he is not going anywhere.

  37. I could easily survive this. I’d just jump right as it went off and jump over the shrapnel. Light work.
