  1. I don’t know about the Daily Star. But I was in London yesterday with 2 phones, one on BT and one on O2, and despite each one telling me I had either 4G or 5G full signal, I could barely load my emails most of the time. Anything audio or video had no chance.

It was like this for most of the day, which was spent between King’s Cross and Borough Market. It continued for around 80% of the train journey out of London. I was lucky to load a news article to read.

This has been par for the course for a few years now, I’m used to it, but every now and then I remember the super-fast signal I’ve had recently in places like Cyprus, the Dolomites, in deep rural France, or a random cabin hours from anything in Estonia.

  2. Made by Intuitive Machines, it is set to launch next week with the aim of finding lunar water ice. And while it contains several different vehicles on board, some of them will need a 4G connection to send data and images back to Earth

  3. I swear mobile reception is getting worse. There are now loads of dead zones in Central London, something which didn’t even happen in the 90s.

  4. The daily star. Reporting as if they were still in 2003. What are they on? Fucking dial up?
