  5. That’s not too bad, my dad was a young man during the Beatles’ heyday, even saw them live a couple of times, but he didn’t notice the pun in their name until I pointed it out to him around 30 years later.

    Ideal and, to a lesser extent, more recently, People Just Do Nothing, are often way too close to the bone when looking back at a lot of my teenage years…hanging out at drug dealers’/”DJ’s” house, with a stream of strange and scary characters passing through.

  25. Is Zai Bennett the baddie in this saga? I remember hearing some uproar at the time that it was cancelled before what was supposed to be the final series. He took over right before this happened, just as BBC3 crashed and burned (which may or may not be a coincidence).

  28. I totally love this programme. It was peak BBC3 TV. Been looking for this for years to watch but struggled to find the whole series. Glad I can watch it on iPlayer now.

  29. The end was.. different, I much preferred the original seasons. It’s funny watching it as a 30yr old – the music used to terrify me as a kid!
