  4. I will say I am NOT a fan of Trudeau (Poilievre is slimy AF as well) and I am glad he said this. BUT (and this is a BIG FUCKING BUT) it is hard to say what he did when our military has been underfunded and our military has had to “make do” for decades. 

    Perun did an amazing video about the Canadian military and the lack of funding. Basically the government runs it lean and then spends too much when shit goes sideways that if it had been properly funded wouldn’t have to happen.  This has been because of close ties to the US during the cold war so spending on the military was “silly”.  We have FOBs up north for decades on the assumption that if the Russians invaded the Americans would fly up and stage from there.

  6. Easy for the outgoing Trudeau to virtue signal, but the proof is in the pudding isn’t it? Canada has been a free rider in NATO much like the state of Montana, only we pay taxes to Uncle Sam.

    Stop using flowery language to pretend like you’re doing something you’re not.

    It’s good that you want to help Ukraine, now you have to actually do it if you want people to respect you.
