SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 21 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM] said on Friday that it posted a preliminary gross loss of 198,000 levs ($105,721/101,235 euro) in January.
In the same month of 2024, Elhim Iskra booked a preliminary loss of 387,000 levs.
Sales revenue amounted to 2.64 million levs last month, Elhim Iskra said in a bourse filing. In comparison, the company recorded sales of some 3.52 million levs a year earlier.
Looking ahead, the Pazardzhik-based company, which is part of local diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH], projects sales of 2.74 million levs in February, down from 3.43 million levs in the same month last year.
As of 1015 CET on Friday, shares in Elhim Iskra traded 31.15% higher at 0.80 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
