Looks more like the Russians were planting and boobytrapping a mine when it went off on them and prematurely detonated another they had placed on the side.
Also the speed at which it took the Ukrainian to load the mortar doesn’t match up with how fast the second supposed impact. It would mean he would have had to move at something like 5x times the speed to load the second mortar compared to the first.

It looks like the guy moving a bit to left in the lead got partly blasted to the right side before the second round hit to then got blown to literal shreds….
They heard nothing.
