  2. Hardly a masterstroke…they could have just used ChatGPT.

  3. It’s mostly international students with rich parents doing it. When a class is full of rich students from China, whose parents are paying £20,000+ per year for your course, plus paying for their rent, paying for an essay is nothing.

And people wonder how these students that hardly speak English are able to pass their exams…

  4. Economics- economical with the truth. Actually just give them a pass- they’ve shown a Trumpian approach to business. Well done for passing the business ethics course module on cheating.

  5. I assume this is pretty common. Imo almost every degree should have at least 50% of the mark based on a viva.

  6. This is why society’s crumble. The “rich elites” buying their education and then being put in charge of systems whose function they have little respect or knowledge of.

Just order the plebs to do their jobs, so they can carry on partying.

  7. I remember when I was at Uni for both Bachelor’s and Master’s we had a lot of students in our class from China and India, who could barely speak English, were near useless in group assignments, but somehow always passed individual essays.

  8. There are WeChat groups that spam these adverts for Chinese students. I think this is widespread but do the universities care if they are getting the tuition fees?
