  1. Hundreds of thousands of US soldiers died in WW2 to defeat fascism, only for these scumbags to introduce it back home.

America, what a sad state of things.

  2. Literally Nazis running America. What a time to be alive.

  3. This is hilarious. One group of fascists can’t agree with another, what a surprise!

  4. Tbh, the French far-right trying to sanity-wash itself by calling out obvious fascists like Bannon or AfD feels even more dangerous for the developments in Europe than the usual people reaffirming who they are.

  5. This disgusting person gave a nod afterwards, signaling clearly he meant what he did. No questions and guessing around.

  6. The American far right forgets that most white conservative Europeans had family be killed directly by nazis and don’t see them as Allie’s

  7. Troubles in paradise: Bannon calls Bardella “a boy, not a real man” who is not worthy of governing his country and says he did the same gesture in 2018 when invited to speak at RN’s meeting in Lille.

  8. WTF is with everyone adopting the nazi salute these days?

I mean, it’s not questionable… it’s clear as fucking daylight that the nazi’s were as evil as it comes.

And people are really endorsing that?

Every fucking day that passes, I say *”Nothing could amaze me more at this point”* and then some fascist bastard steps up to the challenge and makes me a liar.

  9. “Oh shit we cant support that, it will blow our cover”

Meanwhile stupid americans: iT iS a rOmAn SaLuTe

  10. Lol bardella knows he’ll get absolutly reckt at home if he is associated with this

France don’t fuck with this shit

  11. What appears ? Like, why not just bluntly say it. He made a fucking nazi salute.

  12. I don’t think they are doing it out of the good hearts of theirs, but being a blatant nazi doesn’t help with elections in Europe since (IMHO) most Europeans are better in history and have family members who have suffered from WWII / remember how it was like. Doing a literal heil is illegal also in many parts of Europe, unless the party doesn’t want any EU seat.

  13. Did Morawiecki speak before or after Bannon? Asking for a friend.

  14. Jordan Bardella is still dangerous. These far right cunts do whatever is most opportune. Today against nazi salute. Tomorrow he makes one himself.

  15. That’s the free speech J.D. Vance was referring to

  16. People really don’t like looking in the mirror when the mirror actually shows them what they look like.

  17. he didn’t do it for the salute.

he did it because he thought about himself, so that the media wouldn’t criticize him at home.

he doesn’t care about nazism, all that matters is that he gets votes.

  18. French Far Right did a lot of work this last two decades to not be linked to its Nazi roots from WWII. They are very picky about not let any sign of Naziism be linked to them. And they are quite good at that, we must admit it. Unlike Zemmour, which is openly anti-Constitution. RN is way more subtle about it. Smarter. It’s why they are more dangerous. But there is no ideological opposition between Bannon and RN. RN just want to gain some points and apply what worked in the US.

  19. RN also broke ties with the german AfD over that partys Nazi crime denials, seems like that’s really a line they don’t want to cross (yet).

RN are dangerous and gaining ground in France, but they seem to currently be on something of a sane-washing spree. I guess trying to present themselves as the reasonable ones, compared to the more fractured left and center, who are constantly at each others throats, and prepping for a presidential run in 2027

  20. Seems like Bardella does not want the short term bad press in France with bannon doing this

  21. Can we stop saying “appears to look like”. Call it what it is, a fascist salute. The Republican Party is a fascist party

  22. It’s simpler than that, Bardella realized he didn’t speak English very well lmao

  23. “Appears”. He did one. Stop sugarcoating it. These guys are what you know they are.

  24. We need to call it for what it is. Yes, it’s a Nazi salute, but it’s only a Nazi salute *because* it’s a fascist salute — the Nazis were inspired by the fascist salute and so adopted it.

By calling them Nazis, they easily get around the fact that they are fascists by gaslighting their blind followers into touting Zionism. ‘How can I be a Nazi if I support Israel?’ Despite Israel itself becoming a neo-fascist state in the 21st-century.

These guys aren’t Nazis per-se. They are neo-fascists. To anyone not versed: this means they’re not Nazis in a black and white sense, but they are Nazi-adjacent and just as fucking deplorable. Truth-twisting, propagandist villains funded by an increasingly neo-fascist Russia. Spreading false information, hate and distrust in a liberal democratic system.

  25. “Appears”. Using the term “nazi” lightly to call out everything you disagree with is almost as bad as refusing to call nazi things “nazi”.

  26. The real interesting thing about modern day Nazis is that they are following a belief that brought utter destruction upon Germany. I mean they lost close to 10% of their population, important territory, they were occupied, and had their nation divided.

  27. Given that this year is the 80th anniversary end of world war two, in europe to see that is disgusting, all the horror’s of that war all the brave men who died in that war, and who fought in it, it’s a insult to them, who fought people like him, and won

  28. IT’S NOT “APPEARS”! He fucking saluted, just like every Nazi in history.

  29. He is not “appearing to.” He is making a Nazi salute.

  30. If even the far right refuse to be associated with this…
